Writing Guidelines
Christian Herald is a monthly Canadian Christian newspaper which is read primarily by Evangelical Christians living in the Southern Ontario/Golden Horseshoe region. This region, the most populated in Canada, comprises the city of Toronto and the surrounding ring of more than eighteen suburban cities.
Each issue of Christian Herald is distributed free of charge into over 600 Christian churches, bookstores, colleges and businesses. At this writing, our circulation is a minimum of 20,000 copies per issue, making the Herald one of the largest-circulation independent Christian newspapers in the entire country.
We are always looking for interesting and timely features and news stories, focusing primarily on:
• local, regional and international news developments of interest to the Christian community.
• profiles of Christian ministries and personalities at work in Christendom today.
• profiles/interviews of Christians in prominent positions in society (e.g Sports, Politics, Arts, Business etc.)
• articles on upcoming Christian events or reviews of just-held events,
including Christian conferences, concerts, drama productions, and more. • Christian Book/CD/DVD reviews.
• reviews of Christian Travel destinations.
